One of the best attractions in the state, this centre offers a chance for visitors to come up close with Malaysian elephants ( Elephas Maximus ). Established in 1989, the centre is dedicated to rescuing and translocating elephants. The centre is the only one of its kind in the country and it aims to educate the public on the importance of conservation and protection.
Remark : Deerland - is closed every Friday (optional). Wear comfortable walking shoes for a hike up to Batu Caves. Short pants or short skirts are NOT ALLOWED. Elephant activities will not operate if the water level is above danger.
